My new short animation film has just been premiered at this years Inverness Film Festival.
Selected as part of the Eden Court Digital Eden project, I was given the loan of a computer and software, and eight short weeks, to make my film.
It is inspired by the local landscape, As well as by folk tales from around the world, with its theme of friendship overcoming fears.
I had to fit making the film in around my jobs with the Skye and Lochalsh Young Carers Project & the Lochcarron Fire & Rescue service. Because of the time constraints, a lot of the main narrative had to be trimmed, but I'm hoping to get funding sometime to continue with the project and create the full length version.
Music for the animation has been kindly provided by Edinburgh folk group Fribo (www.fribo.co.uk)
The film was premiered at the Festival on 11th November.
